Jack Binion`s Steak House in Council Bluffs

I have nothing but great things to say about Jack Binions! My husband and I have been going here for date nights about once or twice a year, for a couple of years now. The food is amazing! The staff is always friendly and professional! The deserts are really good as well!! The meals are served a la carte and the sides are served family style. You do have to walk through the casino floor to get to the restaurant, so children or not allowed and they do allow smoking on the casino floor which can either be a plus or a downside to anyone. I really enjoy the atmosphere once you get into the restaurant, with its dim lighting and velvety decor. I will keep coming back to enjoy a great dinner and the cozy atmosphere!

Beef melts in your mouth & service is outstanding!!!

Great food but disappointed we had to stare at our finished plates from the appetizers for a long time, finally had to request someone remove them and the same thing happened with our main course plates. I was almost to the point of bussing the table myself after the manager and wait staff kept walking by. That was a miserable failure for upscale dining.

Fantastic food and the service was great. Surroundings anded to the enjoyment for relaxing conversation.

Food came out horrible, burnt, soggy just plain nasty. Found out it is internship cooks are cooking the food. That explains the why maybe the food isnt good. This is my third time coming back to try to get the 1st bite from my 1st experience its impossible. I wont return. I'm going to eat somewhere else.

Chinese hot and sour soup was one of the best cups I ever had.

Great steak definitely pricey tho so might just stick with cooking my own

Prime rib, taters, shrooms, salad,...all the fixings! Yep! Tasty! Filling! Hit the spot!

Dinner was excellent, steak perfectly cooked! We enjoyed sitting in the bar area, it is a little more casual than the dining room area. Our server Jacob was excellent! We'll definitely be back next time we road trip through Council Bluffs.

This place has the best steak I have ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly. My wife's prime rib melted in your mouth. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Steak was overcooked but they gave me a new one and cut the price of the steak in half. The second steak took so long to get that I had to take it to go. Still made a pretty good midnight snack. The $10 ala carte baked potato was also overcooked and a couple of teaspoons of an extra sauce was $5.00, which seems a little high to me. The French onion soup is delicious. Service was fair.

Not really an upscale steakhouse. The service was good, not great. The rib-eye steak was prepared acceptable but not close to the advertised size. The anchovies on the Cesar salad came right out of a can. Perhaps the best and redeeming quality food item were the grilled brussel sprouts. The prices were average for an overall average meal. I will not return, the area has many better quality restaurants.

You can never go wrong by stopping in here!

The food is usually great. Today my filet mignon was overcooked but they gave me another steak and cut the price of my meal in half. The $10 baked potato was also overcooked and a couple of tablespoons of an extra sauce was $5, which seems steep to me. Service was fair. Then my husband and I proceeded to lose about $300 in the casino, so all in all, not the best night.

Went after work and in work attire, I work in woods so you can only imagine. But I do travel alot with my job and in your area often and had full intentions on staying at casino eating and gambling. But after sitting for 20 minutes and not having my drink order or anyone come by, I decided to leave. Did I mention wasn't busy at all. Ended up spending my money somewhere else. Hey "Jack" don't judge a book by its cover.

Food and service is awesome.pricing is a bit high though.

The worst cut of prime rib I've ever had. It and potato was cold, they nuked the prime rib and it came back and tasted like shoe leather what must taste like.

After going to Harrahs 360 steak house and leaving pretty disappointed we decided to try their other properties steak house. We were not disappointed!!! The Jack Binions steak house at the Horseshoe casino was so much better!!!!!! We will definitely be back!!! Sure there is no view like there is at 360, but I am here for the food!!ProsFabulous service!!!Steak was cooked properly and seasoned perfectly , hubby and I both had the 8oz filet. Crab cake appetizer is chock full of meat and the lime cream sauce is to die for. Shrimp were huge!!!Mac n cheese is fabulously cheesy. Cons Bar drinks took quite a while.Carrots were barely warm.

Amazing experience, always walk out beyond full! Service is incredible, food above expectations and my drinks perfect.
